I am a design thinker, educator, and creative director based in Madison, WI. My work and creative philosophy are strongly influenced by semiotic theory, a long-standing study of the aesthetics of wabi-sabi, and rooted deeply in craftsmanship and the uniquely human act of creation. I believe all design is first and foremost an act of translation from concept to visual language.
